Going along with yesterday's post, I am thankful that I have had the luxury of staying at home while my boys were growing up. Being a SAHM is the most important thing I have ever done - even on days that it feels like all I did was laundry and carpool.
I am thankful for Alex - he has made it a priority that I stay home to raise our boys. When we married, he promised that he would do all he could to ensure that I was able to go to my kids school events, games, etc. For a short time I worked as an Interior Designer, but in the end, my heart knew I needed to be at home with my kids.
As my boys are almost grown and gone, I realize just how special it has been for me. I know not everyone has the luxury of being a SAHM, and I am so thankful I have had the opportunity.
